While in NYC, G and I went to a gay sports bar called Boxers. It looked like a straight sports bar. There are televisions all around showing sporting events.
There are pictures of boxer dogs around the restaurant, which gives the restaurant its name. Or it could be that the bartenders took off their clothes and were only wearing boxers.
They have a full bar and beer on draught.
I stuck with a Guinness on draft. They also had some complimentary peanut mix on the bar.
I was glad to visit this place. There was some eye candy. The clientele was just ok. No one was really extra friendly or anything. This place matches what your expectations would be.
I didn't try their food, but I noticed that they have pizza. I would go back if I were in the area, though.
